Nexus, Wizen and Asiaso create the Maple World

10000 years before ROW

Elves and fairies arrive in the Maple World.

8000 years before ROW

The pact of Gemon was formed, allowing peace between the elves and fairies.

1000 years before ROW

Human civilization began to form. The Council of Angiris was created by the fairies to watch against what they consider a nuisance to their society (the humans). However, the elves cooperate with the humans.

400 years before ROW

Sharen Empire (Humans) start. Human sorcerers experiment with demonic magic

340 years before ROW

Sharen III is taken over by one of the demons that his sorcerers brought into the world. Demonic Wars start. Multiple demonic armies destroyed elven cities and ruined parts of the Sharen Empire (What is now Golem Temple and Kerning City) Elves now live in small nomad groups, further advancing the fairies’ despise for the humans.

300 years before ROW

The modern Henesys and Ellinia are founded. The remnants of the Sharen empire are still nomads. Elves are very uncommon these days. Fairies start to migrate from Orbis to Ellinia, developing a new sub-species. The new sub-species generally have smaller wings.

200 years before ROW

Kerning and Perion are founded. The remainder of the elven nomads settled together with humans at Sleepywood

150 years before ROW

The Four Wiseman council founded. Kerning is now a dark modern city. Perion has largely kept to its nomadic ways, moving around the highlands. Ellinia’s trees are finally purified from the taint that the demons left.

130 years to 1 year before ROW

The ‘Great Peace’ of the Maple World, where there was harmonious trade. There was a large increase of adventurers doing quests, killing monsters etc. Until Omega Sector tested its Super Soldier Regiment 1 on Folk Town. Countries disagreed on how to handle Omega Sector and began building up their military and the Four Wiseman council was disbanded. The Nautilus became MIA. The Reign Of Wars has started. The other species remain neutral.

The real start to the war began when a bandit (Eros) attacked Grendel and placed him into a coma. Ellinia accused Kerning City of sending a bandit to assassinate Grendel. Despite Kerning City denying any involvement, Ellinia attacked Kerning. Ellinia used Sleepywood as a gateway to Kerning, angering Athena Pierce (As Sleepywood houses the last elves) Athena stated that Henesys would conduct raids on anyone who uses Sleepywood as a gateway to attack any other town. Any mage in Sleepywood were shot down (No fairy was in the army)


Orbis wanted to protect its trade route with Ellinia, so it bombed Kerning and Perion. Neither could stop the bombings, due to their weapons lacking the range. Athena threatened to terminate the pact of Gemon if Orbis did not stop. One of the Angiris council leads a coup’ de tat, the extremists considering that the humans and elves should be cleansed from the Maple World.


Orbis is taken over by the extremists, who have a lot of public support. They begin a campaign to rid the Maple World of humans, including those that were neutral in the war (El Nath, Magnatia and Arath Desert citizens. Omega Sector soldiers were too powerful) They start with the weakened armies of Perion and Kerning


At this time, Grendel wakes up from the coma and orders the exile of all the fairies in Ellinia in response to the Orbis extremists. Omega Sector launches Operation Air, with an all out assault on Orbis via the Orbis tower with their super soldiers. Without their anti-air, the Orbis fleet easily annilates them. The whole world starts to turn against Orbis.

The coup’ de tat leaders are assassinated. Without the leadership, all of their forces surrender. The world finally simmers down, though no peace treaty is signed….
