Ze principle replies to a message suggesting for a HW collection bin to be placed a school during sch holidays
This may sound like a good idea but as educators preparing all of you for the future and the world you will be living and working in, we will not be implementing it.
Etc. etc. etc. We heard this is billion times already so stop saying this. We are preparing u for the future bla bla bla
When you go into the world of work, the boss or client will give you only 1 copy of whatever assignment/project/contract/document. You cannot go back to ask for another if you have lost it. Your boss or client will not think very highly of you if you do.
Of course, if you're rich enough, you could just get a secretary to archive everything. Isnt that what a secretary is for? Oh and a CERTAIN principal lets the staff do the work while that certain principal slacks in a air-con office.
You will have to use your ingenuity to figure out what else you can do to retrieve it.
Oh wow, my ingenuity tells me not to even do it. Most from 1 year to another year homework never gets asked for by the teacher.
School is a microcosm of the world.

We would like you to develop responsibility and resourcefulness. If you have lost your homework, it is just a matter of calling your friend to make arrangements to go to his/her house to retrieve it and photocopy it. The inconvenience is brought on by your not keeping your homework safe in the first place.
SELF-OWNED! Asking for the project/work etc. from your friend at work could cost u ur job
The pain it brings will ensure that you be more careful in having a system to safekeep and do your holiday homework in future.
